Fashion’s Night Out in Manchester !
With so much fashion excitement planned for one evening, shoppers are going to need to be clued-up and savvy about how they spend their time. To help you decide where to head, we’ve put together a mini guide of what’s tipped to be on offer in each area of the city. . .
On Thursday 10th October, Vogue will bring their global initiative Fashion’s Night Out to Manchester for an evening of exciting fashion events and shopping galore! The annual event was launched in NYC in 2009, with retailers and designers enticing fashionistas into stores with limited edition goods, celebrity appearances, special offers and goodie bags available for one night only! Vogue Fashion’s Night Out now takes place in over 25 cities around the world, and this will be the first time the UK event has been hosted outside the capital.

The hub of Fashion’s Night Out. Luxury department stores Harvey Nichols and Selfridges will vie for attention. Both are sure to pull out all the stops and offer some of the most exciting in-store experiences of the night. Harvey Nichols will be throwing a big party to celebrate their 10th birthday. We’re expecting cake to be high on the agenda in addition to exciting designer apprearances, customisations and some extra-special surprises! Selfridges will have a van on the square with a surprise celeb selling the official FNO t-shirts. There will be pop-up food carts on each floor and mystery- amount gift card give-aways of £1-£500. But it’s not only established designers in the spotlight; you’ll also have a chance to preview the next generation of emerging design talent with Salford Uni’s fashion students showcasing their pieces in the square. Support our home-grown innovators and pick up a one-of-a-kind piece from their pop-up shop.
