Democratic Alliance (DA) Alexandra, north of Johannesburg, is a densely populated township where people have been struggling to secure housing rights for many years. It is a Sunday and a Democratic Alliance (DA) parliamentary team, led by Mr Ian Ollis, is in the area to meet local DA supporters for a discussion of some of the challenges facing the township. In this predominantly black township, white faces stand out like a sore thumb, but Mr Ollis and his team feel quite at home in Alex. “We are twinning Parkhurst
