l With Nintendo and Microsoft back on board, all three platform holders will be exhibiting.

l More than 275,000 visitors are expected to attend, including more than 24,500 trade visitors from 80 countries.


l New layout allows for bigger publisher booths, many of which have expanded since last year, including a bigger eSports area in Hall 8, and a revamped online area in Hall 9.


l Gamescom Tomorrow will explore opportunities and trends in the licensing business and recruiting skilled personnel.


l France is this year’s partner country, headlining a wide range of international exhibitors.


l UK pavilion organised by UKIE will be double the size of last year’s stand.


l Over 45,000 tickets were sold by June 1st, nearly three times 2012’s early ticket sales.
