USAT LAUNCHES FOUNDATION
USA Triathlon recently announced the launch of its new charitable fundraising arm, the USA Triathlon Foundation, created to support youth, paratriathletes and up-and-coming elites.
The Foundation aims to improve the general well-being of individuals through programming meant to support the multisport lifestyle and develop opportunities for greater participation throughout the U.S. Funds contributed to the Foundation will help instill a lifetime of fitness in youth athletes, open the doors of participation to aspiring paratriathletes and fuel the Olympic dreams of America’s rising stars.
“The USA Triathlon Foundation will help support the needs of our fastest-growing constituent groups and the future of our sport,” USA Triathlon CEO Rob Urbach said. “USA Triathlon is committed to fueling the multisport lifestyle and the Foundation will ensure the legacy of our sport and these athletes continues for many years to come.”
