Maintenance Miko extends NCA


contract Oslo-based Miko Marine, which manufactures and supplies a range of magnetic and fabric patches as temporary, emergency repairs for damaged vessels on the go, has renewed a service agreement with the Norwegian Coastal Administration (NCA). The NCA fleet currently carries Miko Marine’s patches aboard its principal vessels, including five emergency towing vessels, and previously used a 6m x 2m Miko magnetic patch to seal a large hole in the hull of its trawler Hundvåkøy, after it was involved in a collision.
