Cwmbran Toolbank Show at the Chepstow Racecourse …was it a good day out? YOU BET!
After catching 5 different trains to get there, I eventually arrived in Chepstow. Eddie Brown and all his team from Toolbank Cwmbran made me feel most welcome. The show was busy from start to finish with even more stands this year than last year. There was also an area outside where some companies had their vans and
were able to demonstrate tools. The Metabo stand showed off their new 5.2 Ah battery, a first from any power tool manufacturer. No doubt our tester, Peter Brett, will be putting it through its
paces before too long. On the Bahco stand the visitors were able to take part in a ‘raffle’. The prize being a great tool storage system with an in-built BBQ. Tickets being issued when
orders were placed. I am pleased to advise that the winner on the day was Mr Nick Marchesi of CNS, Swansea. Many congratulations Nick ~ just need some BBQ weather now! New to Toolbank, Milwaukee showed a vast range of their tools. It was also good to see so many other suppliers and hear all about their plans for product
launches in the upcoming year. I would like to thank Eddie, Elaine and all the team at Chepstow for all their kind hospitality. –Christine Williams
