BUT WE NEED YOU AS PART OF IT Mick McCarthy’s performance since taking over as manager last year has been fantastic. Having taken over a team adrift at the bottom of the league, he has moulded a tough- to-beat and highly competitive team from virtually the same squad that he inherited.


If his results are multiplied over the course of the season, we are pretty close to play-off form.


If next year is to be our year, we need everyone behind the team and for our fans to help make Portman Road a fortress. I realise that performances over the last few seasons have led many people to question their season ticket renewals; however, if there has ever been a season when we need your support, it is 2013-14. In recognition of your support, the Club will continue with its offer for season ticket holders in 2013-14 to be provided with half-price season tickets the following year, if we gain promotion to the Premiership.

Whether you are a renewal from last year or have missed a season or two, I hope you find a way to be with us throughout next season.


We have the manager – we have the foundations in place – I truly believe we are moving forwards – but we cannot do it without you.
