Ted gets Miele
Great start to the new year
A
fast growing company is celebrating a great start to the
New Year after being appointed as a Miele Professional Sales & Service partner! Trade Electricals Direct (TED), part of the Hughes Electrical Group, will now be supplying the full range of Miele Professional washing machines, tumble dryers and commercial dishwashers.

These highly specialist machines can take loads of up to 40kg and are designed to be used day in and day out. “This is a great coup for us as Miele is a market leader,” said TED general manager, Paul Chisnall. “It has also seen us take on fi ve new members of staff to cover servicing, installation and sales. We are particular pleased to welcome Bob Kelly as senior adviser
who has over 15 years experience in the industry and we will be supplying and servicing Miele machines throughout Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk. “Our main customers will be care homes, boarding schools, sports centres and hotels. We always need to make sure customers match the right machines with their needs so we will undertake a full site inspection before any installation.
“In the light of rising energy costs, customers are looking for the most economical products for their
requirements and Miele has some of the most effi cient on the market. For example one tumble dryer costs just 18p an hour to run. “It’s an exciting start to the New
Year, coming on the back of 2012 when we became an approved supplier to the London Olympics which saw us deliver over 3,000 individual items to the games.”
There are TED branches in: Birmingham, Cambridge, Colchester, Ipswich, King’s Lynn, London, Norwich (the UK headquarters) and Peterborough.
