AWARD WINNERS Two Good Neighbor awards were presented during the GAR
Awards Luncheon, held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Cobb Gal- leria in Atlanta. Jerry Johnson of the TroupCounty Board and Deb- bie Jones of the Walton-Barrow Board were honored for their outstanding service to their communities. Jerry Johnson of First Realty of Lagrange was honored for his
work with Kiwanis Club of Lagrange, Emmaus Women’s Shelter, Camp Viola, and the Troup County Saddle Club. In addition to serv- ing on the Board of Directors for each of these organizations, Jerry has tirelessly raised funds for each organization that he supports, from implementing and selling tickets to a BBQ fundraiser to organ izing a skeet shoot. In addition to these organizations, Jerry has also been a prolific donor to the American Red Cross, donating more than 10 gallons of blood throughout his lifetime.
