A great time was had by all on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the annual Gordon Asso - ciation’s REALTORS®
Political Action Com -
mittee (RPAC) Holiday Gift Basket Auction. Flipper McDaniel led the festivities off as the auctioneer. More than $750.00 was raised for RPAC. Attendees bid on an assemblage of creative gift baskets and holiday décordonated by the Board’s Member Offices and Affiliates. The lunch buffet was sponsored by Scott Na- tions with Regions Bank and Phillip Henson with Henson & Smith Appraisals. Thanks to all that donated their time and money to make this another successful event.
NORTHEAST GEORGIA
The Northeast Georgia Board had a busy December with several projects, including the preparation of Santa Letters; collecting cash for the Empty Stocking Fund; collecting winter coats for the Coats For Kids project, where in approximately 300 coats were collected; and hosting Leadership Development Training with Adorna Carroll for the NEGBOR and surrounding associations.

*EDITOR’S NOTE: GAR and the Columbus Board mourn the loss of Billy Brescia, who passed away in January just weeks shy of his 96th birthday. Mr. Billy — as he was affectionately known — was dedicated to the REALTOR®
association until the very end of his
life. He was an inspiration to GAR members across the state, and was named GAR REALTOR®
of the Year in 2011. He is dearly missed.
