ness Council for Sustainable Development, Geneva, as of 2009, 40 percent of those buildings were constructed before 1970, a time when modern building and energy codes did not exist. As a result, most of the existing

Foil-faced polyiso insulation board was installed on the existing roof surface at Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Texas. A second layer of insulation then was added for better thermal performance.
