You’ll probably recognise the iconic Eagle logo from the golfi ng set, but you probably don’t realise just how steeped in history this Great British brand really is. Established in 1874, Lyle & Scott have fully embraced their heritage and have created a brand that is beloved on the street as it is on the golf course. Lyle & Scott was founded back in Hawick in the Scottish borders with a loan of £800, by 1954 they had designed an exclusive cashmere collection with none other than Christian Dior, and in 1960 the iconic Eagle was born. In 1962 H.M. The Queen visited Lyle & Scott at Hawick (it doesn’t get much better than that!) and by 1975 the brand had been granted the Royal Warrant by appointment to H.R.H. The Duke Of Edinburgh. From then onwards the brand grew from strength to strength, clothing some of the most prestigious golf


tournaments including the open championship, the Ryder Cup and the Hennessey Cup - when Greg Norman won the Open at Turnberry in 1986, the Eagle was taken to victory! By 2008 stars of music, TV and fi lm were picking up on the brand bringing a whole new customer base, including famous faces like the Arctic Monkeys,
