WORKSHOPS, DEPOTS & LIFTING EQUIPMENT

Bespoke designs and precise solutions ‘C

onsulting, design, manufacturing and installation of workshop equipment’

is the headline on our advert on page 64. We offer the whole range required to ensure the maintenance of trains is the best it can be.

Consultation is vital, since everything done in the other stages first needs careful consideration

and planning. Some of our customers asked us how to manage workshop equipment, and we have the capacity and engineering know-how to deliver the most advanced solutions. Cost savings and high safety targets form the basis of our ethos.

The design stage depends on the workshop conditions and the requirements of the customer: and we can offer different designs that fit exactly into the workshop.

Design work is done in very close contact with our customers, in order to ensure all elements of the work are delivered as required.

Manufacturing takes place at our company, and is

constantly controlled and monitored so that installation on site can be carried out smoothly in close cooperation with local partners and others also working on site.

We are flexible and tailor-made equipment can be adapted to the workshop, achieving the best solution for our customers.

An example would be the work we have done for the new workshop in Sochi, Russia, where we consulted, designed, manufactured and installed elevated tracks, with hinged rail bridge, wheel set changing system, wheel set storage system, roof working platforms, front head platforms, catwalks and the supporting structure of the workshop at which the working platforms are installed.

This was all done to an earthquake-proof design.

This is what makes us different from others: we are flexible enough to suit the specific demands of our customers throughout the world.
