Quattro Group finalises acquisition of MAP Plant’s sweeper division

The Quattro Group has announced the acquisition of the sweeper division of MAP Plant.

The acquisition took place on November 30 and affects all areas of the organisation that are connected with the supply of sweeper plant.

John Murphy, managing director of the Quattro Group, said he is delighted to be overseeing the changes, and that it is an exciting time for both organisations.

He said: “We are all committed to providing the very best service we can, both to customers and employees.

“The addition of MAP Plant’s customers, employees and equipment will enable us to meet a wider set of customer

needs, increase efficiencies and significantly expand our opportunities for growth.”

The teams at both the Quattro Group and MAP Plant said they are dedicated to ensuring as little upheaval as possible during this time, and are aiming to keep everything ‘business as usual’.

For affected staff at MAP Plant, contracts of employment will be transferred to the Quattro Group and roles will continue as normal in order to maintain a seamless level of service for customers.

Darren Carter, director of MAP Plant, explained his view of the deal, saying: “Individually both organisations offer a great service in their respective areas, however MAP Plant wish to focus their attentions more on

growing the heavy plant and tool areas of the organisation. Both companies can now excel in their respective areas with the very best equipment and experience that the industry has to offer.”

Murphy added: “We have the opportunity to revolutionise the provision of sweeper plant and services and offer an unrivalled delivery.

“With an increased capacity

to reach new customers and the ability to provide current customers with enhanced products and services, we are looking forward to delivering on the promise of this acquisition and building a better future for the industry.”
