Improved C.K Magma Bags: Product Tests Generate
100% Approval Rate After a recent revamp of one of its core products, Carl Kammerling International has received ‘glowing’ reports from the end user, resulting in 100% positive feedback, and a reported increase in sales. The much improved C.K Magma Maxi and Mini bags now benefit from a wider
opening mouth, a remodelling of internal pockets to prevent obstruction and a fully waterproof, 100% crack- proof polymer base, come at no extra cost to the original competitive price – guaranteeing their success in flying off the shelves. Carl
Kammerling runs an ongoing intensive product development programme investigating potential and reviewing existing product lines. It was as a result of this that it redeveloped its popular, premium quality, C.K Magma Maxi and Mini bags to deliver even greater and longer lasting performance than ever before. As further commitment to ensuring its products meet the needs and
requirements of the end user, the team at Carl Kammerling immediately offered the bags up for a series of rigorous product tests and it is pleased to say they have been met with a unanimous seal of approval. Comments back have focused on the robust nature of the bags, their easily accessible opening and the storage facilities. Roger Atack, Electrician and C.K customer commented on his Maxi bag: “The bag is very good, with a sturdy bottom and strong handles including a
‘carrying’ handle that allows you to reach in and get tools out while it’s on your shoulder. The many pockets on the outside allow you to store many different pieces of equipment and the inside provides great storage for tools that are easily accessible. Also you can zip it up and secure all tools and equipment keeping your tools secure. Overall this is a welcome addition to my tool bag collection – a well- designed bag that I will highly recommend to fellow electricians and other trades.”

More Volvos For Blackwood
Plant Hire “Reliability and the back-up that’s second to none….” That’s the continued
sentiment of Tom Blackwood, Managing Director of Ayrshire plant hire company Blackwood Plant Hire Ltd as he takes additional Volvo excavators into his fleet. Since establishing his plant
hire business in 2001, Tom Blackwood has steadily increased his park of machines from three to in excess of 140 individual items of mobile plant in the space of just eleven years, the backbone of which carry the Volvo brand. And in this year alone the company has purchased a range of Volvo equipment including fourteen, twenty two and thirty tonne excavators culminating in a package of six Volvo ECR58 plus reduced swing radius compact excavators. “The business has really taken off this year and our recent investment in a whole range of equipment has been driven by demand from our own client base which has become extremely wide and diverse,” says Managing Director Tom Blackwood. “Our contracts and projects now not only cover the whole of Scotland, but many parts of England as far south as Swindon, the Birmingham conurbations and Merseyside. Diversification has been the key in the current climate and besides looking further afield for business including civil engineering, plant hire, demolition and specialist low ground pressure machines, we have purchased this latest batch of Volvo compact excavators for specific Network Rail contracts,” he continues.
