B U I L D I N G T H E F U T U R E The College’s enduring impact stems not only from the capacity to be
visionary, but also from our ability to use liberal learning for purposeful engagement at the local, regional, national, and international levels. As we celebrate Mount Holyoke’s 175th anniversary and our legacy of educating women of influence, a tremendous opportunity exists to shape the College’s future. The Campaign for Mount Holyoke is vital to the College’s ongoing work—it serves students, faculty, and the academic program. Alumnae
are the College’s greatest source of pride and the most important example of Mount Holyoke’s legacy of leadership. Whether accomplishments are public or private, groundbreaking or interpretive, innovative or simply interesting, there is no greater testament to the relevance of the College’s mission than the thoughtful, effective lives of its graduates and their influence, worldwide.
We must take the lead in addressing global challenges. As an institution, we are committed to fostering the linkages between liberal learning and career preparation in an integrated and systematic way, providing the best preparation possible for our students in the future.
