On our wheels for The Prince’s Trust
For the past seven years, AT&T has been supporting The Prince’s Trust – an organization that provides vital funding and guidance to unemployed young people across the UK to help them take control of their future.
In October, 30 AT&T team members rode 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle in The Prince’s Trust Palace-to-Palace Bike Ride. The AT&T team raised more than £6,000 thanks to donations and pledges of support, placing us among the top ten fundraising teams. To date, the Palace-to-Palace event has raised more than £1 million for The Prince’s Trust.
This money has made a real difference in the lives of thousands of young people across the UK, inspiring and motivating the most marginalized and disengaged young people to achieve their best in life. AT&T supports the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme which provides disadvantaged 18 to 30-year-olds an opportunity to explore and test their business ideas, write business plans and start their own businesses or achieve alternative goals in education, training, employment or volunteering.

AT&T opens doors on new Dubai office
In September, AT&T EMEA opened the doors on its new location in the heart of Dubai’s Internet City, underlining the organization’s continuing commitment to the Middle East and Africa.
Working closely with colleagues in the wider EMEA territory, the AT&T team in Dubai brings a wealth of expertise and resources to its regional customer base, providing multinational companies operating in the Middle East region with access to an advanced portfolio of Internet Protocol (IP) MPLS-based communications services as well as hosting, security and worldwide connectivity.
The new office plays home to a variety of teams, with AT&T Enterprise, Wholesale, Customer Care and Global Access Management organizations directly represented in the region with resources based in Dubai.
