It was Jules Verne, the pioneer of science fiction, who remarked: “All that is impossible remains to be achieved.” Given the huge challenges presented by issues such as sustainability, the environment, global warming and resource depletion, this philosophy is as relevant in the early 21st century as it was when Verne was writing about air travel before it had even been invented.
