The future of lighting will be put under the spotlight during the Society of Light and Lighting's event, Taking Control, to be staged at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden.


This pre-Christmas event includes a chance for the science behind the ideas to be demonstrated. Wayne Howell, technical director of Artistic License, will talk about 'The future of lighting protocols', which will include a discussion of DMX512 vs DALI and their relative merits.


Brian Cuthbertson, managing director of Multiload Technology, will be demonstrating the niche market for 'Unashamedly analogue lighting systems in this digital world'.
