the things that make a good long-term successful commercial partnership. Measuring quality and consistency is not easy, because
anyone can say they are capable of meeting your order. Run an audit of potential facilities, make a test run and follow up with random testing to ensure quality does not decline later on. It also is worth trying to acquire certifi cates of insurance from suppliers. Perform incoming package inspections, and if parts don’t
meet your standards, call the metalcaster and send the job back at the supplier’s expense. Corrective action is important. How a supplier reacts to a problem shows a lot about the company, its real capabilities and its willingness to change and meet your needs.
