MetalTek Reorganizes to Emphasize Global Focus MetalTek International,


Waukesha, Wis., a manufacturer and integrator of high‐alloy components, announced a reorganization designed to solidify its growth strategy as a metals technology provider in key global markets. The announced restructuring


creates three new business units. The North American Businesses Group consolidates the company’s technology and manufacturing capabilities in centrifugal, sand, investment and continuous casting into a single organization. The MetalTek European Group consolidates local sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing functions into an organization that will continue to emphasize the company’s major thrust and expansion in Europe. The MetalTek Energy Group has been created to serve key energy sectors including oil and gas, conventional and nuclear power generation, and environmental. “We are dedicated to a high


growth strategy in our key target markets. This refined structure will help us continue to focus on those markets and ensure our manufacturing operations meet our customer expectations for today and into the future.” said MetalTek CEO Robert Smickley. “We really believe that the combination of heat, wear, and corrosion‐resistant solutions that we offer to our customers is unparalleled. This new organization will make it even easier for customers in our target markets to access all that we offer.” According to Smickley,
