years ago. If you study the market carefully, there is an empty space for tinted carnations. In my opinion this is happening because the tinted carnations have not been developed like the chrysanthemums. Car- nations, Alstroemerias, and Chrysanthemums are classified as basic products, and large quantities are grown. Tinted flowers are a category in the market for cut flowers, but tinted carnations have to exist as a regular program in this category in order for them to develop.

You can get nice results without always using a white flower for tinting. On this image you see tinted mini carnation Cae- sar, which has yellow natural color.
