As wrapping paper starts creeping onto the supermarket shelves, we’re starting to see it getting dark in the early evening and the weather reports are all about rain. However, never a team to get downhearted, the A1 office has decided to beat the blues and embrace the Autumn months. We have tackled the issue of the impending cold with a great feature on climate
control this month, so hopefully there’ll be little need to worry that any trips out shopping in the rain will be unpleasant. We’ve also taken a look at the wonderful world of mannequins in this issue, with
an exploration of how their use is changing to suit new retail trends. Mannequins provide a perfect opportunity for clothing retailers to show off their products as they’ll look once they’re on, so it's important that they reflect the retailer and suit the product offering perfectly. The office is extremely excited to be putting our best outfits on this month to
head to the VM & Display and POPAI Awards, and in anticipation of these events we’ve had a chat to the organisers to get a little insight into why these events are so important. Finally, for this month’s Day in the Life we have been lucky enough to get a little
insight into all the hard work completed by Retail Trust. It’s a great look at how Nigel J L Rothband, Chief Executive of the charity, keeps the organisation going. A great read!
