Unibox glass unit to capitalise on the potential of lighting to help merchandise products. The LED luminaires can be rotated through 350° to accurately highlight items on display, and have been fitted with 3000k colour temperature LED lamps to produce a ‘warm white light’ in order to enrich the appearance of decorative pieces that have a metallic quality to them. Dixon Shop first approached Unibox and Lumenal in December 2010, the brief was to create reconfigurable, easy­to­install glass and aluminium shelving and display units. Since then, Unibox and Lumenal have worked with the store to help them refresh and reconfigure their display systems to incorporate LED lighting and

modular retail display unit developments to ensure that the shop remains as fresh and ahead of the curve as possible. When products need a show­stopping display then lights and drama are an excellent way of getting customer attention, but sometimes displays simply need to be brightly coloured and in the right place to do their job. This was definitely the case when The Gift Voucher Shop was looking to install stand alone units to display its new range of One4All Gift Cards in Post Offices across the UK. A solution had already been commissioned and designed when the number of units increased substantially, so PPE, a part of HL Group, was chosen as a partner for production of the units. By getting involved in the process, PPE was able to suggest alterations that could be made to the unit to create a more cost
