$50,000 Classroom and Laboratory Technology:Mount Holyoke’s classrooms and computer labs require up- grading in order to remain technologically up-to-date and support the educational priorities of the College.


$50,000 New Science Faculty Lab Start-up: When new science faculty members join the College, funds are often needed to reconfigure space, establish laboratory resources, and meet general equipment needs.


$25,000 Faculty Development Fund: The College offers pedagogy workshops, seminars, training for chairs and other faculty administrators, departmental and program reviews, and curriculum development discussions.


Student Support


$100,000 The Weissman Center for Leadership and the Liberal Arts: The center supports students who aspire to become agents of change. Two key ways to help inform and manifest change include semesterlong themed programming and support for student mentors in the center’s Speaking, Arguing, and Writing Program.


$100,000 Learning Abroad: Each academic year, more than 200 MHC students spend time studying abroad. Students may choose from language immersion, field studies, or classroom-based programs in more than 50 countries.


$50,000 21st Century Scholar:MHC offers a limited number of merit scholarships—awarded competitively—to first- year candidates who have an outstanding record of scholarship and cocurricular achievement. This provides a full, one-year scholarship.


$25,000 Peer-Mentoring: The Weissman Center’s Speaking, Arguing, and Writing Program places students as peer mentors to staff the Williston Library and to partner with faculty in courses across the disciplines.
