Far Far Away Books London, UK

“We’re looking for constructive comments from international buyers” London-based Far Far Away Books is an independent publisher that was set up last year and specialises in books and digital content aimed primarily at younger children. It also publishes a few crossover titles aimed at the adult gift market. Publishing executive Lyn Coutts

says: “Having spent the year to date establishing Far Far Away in the UK, we feel the time is right to present our first four books along with our early 2013 slate to the international market. With a further 16 books planned for the first five months of next year, our catalogue is brimming with lots of stories that we want to shout about. In particular, renowned illustrator Gillian Tyler has worked with us on our February title A Colourful Wish (right) a heart-warming story about a rabbit with a talent for painting—perfect for the Easter gifting market. “As a new publisher, feedback is

important to us, so we’re looking for constructive comments from international buyers. Armed with this information, we can better understand their needs, which will assist us in making the perfect books to complement their catalogues. We’re also keen to develop long-term relationships with our carefully selected publishing partners. And of course, we’d like to acquire some orders along the way.”
