A New Way to Tackle Meetings

ORTH TEXAS NO LONGER means being tied down to a traditional convention center or

hotel. Cowboys Stadium — home of the Dal- las Cowboys — is a great place for planners to write, and flawlessly execute, their own meeting and event playbooks. While Cowboys Stadium may look

imposing, it is truly an accessible venue, ideal for all events, from association and corporate meetings, to trade shows, to social events and galas. Featuring more than 22 flexible areas, the $1.2-billion stadium can accommodate groups of all sizes. In addition to seating for 80,000 attendees or spectators (expandable to 100,000), groups will find hundreds of luxury suites and club seating on multiple levels. “Expansive” is the word that best describes Cowboys Stadium’s Main Con- course clubs, each of which spans 59,000 square feet. Two Silver Level clubs are also ample in size, each measuring 39,000 square feet. The Field Level clubs are

unique not only in their location behind the team benches, but also because the teams run through them on their way to the field. All clubs are available for private functions throughout the year. Distinctive design features, like a canted

glass exterior wall, are also the norm at the stadium. Its retractable roof measures 660,800 square feet and is the world’s largest structure of its kind, according to Dallas-based HKS Sports & Entertainment Group, which designed the facility. Two interior supporting arches soar 292 feet above the playing field and measure double the length of St. Louis’ famous arch. Groups holding events at Cowboys Stadium will enjoy access to state-of- the-art technology. The world’s largest high-definition video displays are mounted directly above the field. The four-sided, center-hung display structure, a first for an NFL stadium, consists of four 1080p HD video displays, with the two main sideline displays measuring 72 feet high by 160 feet wide. Weighing 1.2 million tons, the screens are suspended 90 feet directly over the center of the playing surface and stretch from nearly one 20-yard line to the other. The technology of the video board is impressive enough, but Cowboys Stadium also holds the Guinness World Record for most TVs in any sporting venue. Finally, Cowboys Stadium treats visitors

to the most extensive NFL stadium tour, with stops from the field to the locker room, and everywhere in between. Any group booking an event at Cowboys Stadi- um has the option to add on a customized tour package as part of its event experi- ence. Award-winning food-and-beverage services are also provided on stadium tours.
