STARTING out as a new venue in Ibiza is always going to be tough, so it doesn’t help when teething problems stand in the way of your big, explosive introduction to the world. Whether it was unfi nished production aspects, or the need to cut events due to demand, it was one thing after another during the fi rst few months on the island for Sankeys.


But what did you expect? That Manchester’s age-old colossus would just lay down and die, or chuck in the towel over a few minor issues?
