WE’RE still making our minds up about the hype around Jessie Ware (loved the production on ‘110%’, couldn’t make up minds about the lyrics, didn’t like the video), but there’s no doubt she’s on an express train to fame, especially after Disclosure’s peerless remix of ‘Running’. Harpoon produced ‘Wildest Moments’, out August 13th, which precedes album ‘Devotion’, released on August 20th. To get you in the mood for her long- player, catch her playing along with Paloma Faith at Somerset House’s Summer Series on July 18th and at her own sold out headline show at Brixton’s Plan B on August 15th.


NOLAN


Straddling house and disco with a unique twist and an eye for the underground, fresh Brighton DJ/producer Nolan is making waves (and not just on the beachfront). His debut release ‘Thief’ was snapped up by New York’s Nervous Records, making its way into the discerning boxes of Wolf+Lamb, Droog and Maceo Plex, in addition to being picked up for remix by Huxley and Timo Garcia.


His follow up EP is released on the delectable Connaisseur Recordings in July, with a bumping Paradise Garage- inspired disco track alongside a stunning revision of an MK classic. With remixes for Culprit and OFF also forthcoming, a two track EP for Gruuv in September and a hectic DJ schedule, 2012 will certainly be the year of Nolan.
