PLANET PATROL (ORIGINAL MIX) CHRIS CARRIER OFF RECORDINGS

THERE’S no stopping Jesse Rose and his Made to Play and Play It Down labels, which have introduced the world to the likes of Oliver $ and Zombie Disco Squad (whose debut album ‘Brains’ is out now).

Having relocated first to Berlin, Germany, and more recently LA from his original home in West London, he’s stayed one step ahead of dance music’s many twists and turns, kicking off with deep techno, then jacking house, before helping pioneer fidget – a sound that arguably merged with electro to help create complextro - eventually evolving into a

deeper, more funky sound.

You can get an impression of this from his chart which features recent biggies from Zombie Disco Squad, with the DJ Funk sampling ‘Twerk’, and FCL’s rave-chord remix of Audiojack’s ‘Stay Glued’ alongside golden oldies like his own remix of Djedjotronic and Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley’s timeless ‘Jack Your Body’.

Grab a sneak preview of Jesse’s new summer track on his blog and join us in wondering what his next move will be...
