OLYMPICS ALI’S GLOVES OFF!


Britain’s Olympic boxing team were given a boost when Unite general secretary Len McCluskey dropped in at their Sheffield base in June to hand over a pair of signed Muhammad Ali boxing gloves to inspire them in their quest for gold.

McCluskey said, “Muhammad Ali is a tremendous role model for people across the globe. I hope the boxing team can draw inspiration from Ali’s gloves as they go on to do great things this summer and become the legends of tomorrow.


“I’ll be cheering them on during the games to follow in the Ali’s footsteps and secure Olympic gold.”
