And Finally FootBall sPesH
This week sees the release of their ‘The Face’ EP on Greco Roman, the label which counts Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard amongst its founders. Already hyped by the likes of Zane Lowe and Annie Mac (with whom the pair, brothers
Guy and Howard Lawrence, have toured), it features vocalist Sinead Harnett on the smooth-as-buttered-skis ride of ‘Boiling’ and the soulful skip of ‘Control’ featuring Ria Ritchie.
If you like what you hear, check their previous releases, including the stunning double- sided single ‘Flow/Tenderly’, the James Blake- like weirdness of ‘I Love... That You Know’ and ‘My Intention Is War’, which features in remix form on Jaymo & Andy George’s forthcoming Moda Black compilation. Download their free bootleg of Q-Tip online.
