OLYMPIC TEAM TRIALS: Record-setting crowds packed Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City for a historic two-day United States Olympic Team Trials that provided its share of drama and excitement on April 21-22.
FRAYER BREAKS THROUGH: After years of near-misses and heartbreak, Jared Frayer finally broke through to make the U.S. Olympic Team in freestyle wrestling. Frayer knocked off Brent Metcalf to make his first World-level team.
KEMP GIVING BACK TO WRESTLING: Three-time NCAA champion and three-time World champion Lee Kemp is giving back to the sport of wrestling while working with the nutritional supplement company Forza Technologies.
THE RETURN OF CEJUDO: 2008 Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo put on a show with some exciting wrestling before falling just short in his bid to make a second straight Olympic Team. Cejudo retired after his semifinal loss.
ARMY STARS DELIVER: U.S. Army wrestlers Dremiel Byers, Justin Lester and Spenser Mango looked dominant in qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Team in Greco-Roman wrestling. They now take aim at winning medals in London.
