NEW SL-CLASS New SL-Clas


Introducing the new Merce latest incarnation of a true


Performance that lives up to its looks.


The SL not only looks sensational, with dramatic design features including a new-look front grille full of power and purpose. It’s also the first ever production series car to be constructed with a 100% aluminium bodyshell.


Featuring a groundbreaking all aluminium bodyshell, it’s now lighter, more nimble and more efficient than ever. Two new models will be available at launch, the new V6- engined SL 350 and the new 4.7 litre V8-engined SL 500 producing a brutal 700Nm of torque.


This same attention to detail is evident throughout the dramatically redesigned interior, which combines cutting- edge style with sumptuous materials to deliver a high- quality finish synonymous with Mercedes-Benz.

Despite its lightweight construction, the new SL offers outstanding protection in the event of a collision. High strength structural elements include a sturdy passenger cell, complete with crash resistant seats. Doors featuring two aluminium sections and side sills with a robust internal chamber structure offer maximum protection in a side-on collision.


And because avoiding accidents is the best form of defence, the new SL also features an array of active safety
