WHO’S NEW

Mercedes-Benz of Derby’s new General Manager is streets ahead of his rivals.

Mercedes-Benz of Derby customers are set to receive a fi rst class retail experience following the appointment of a new General Manager who has over 20 years’ experience of High Street retailing.

Anthony Partington, 38, will use his vast experience gained at regional director level for Marks & Spencer and the Dixons group to drive up the already impressive level of service that customers of the St Christophers Way Retailer currently enjoy.

As Anthony explained, the decision to join Mercedes-Benz of Derby was based on his desire for a fresh challenge and the high regard that its parent company and the acclaimed Mercedes-Benz brand are held in.

Anthony, who himself has driven a Mercedes- Benz for the last six years, continued: “The way that Inchcape develops its business and encourages best practice is very innovative and I’m looking forward to applying my knowledge and a fresh prospective to fully optimise this pioneering approach at Mercedes-Benz of Derby.

“With an established team, an excellent location and a very spacious facility, there’s fantastic potential at Mercedes-Benz of Derby and we will be reviewing all aspects of the business so that we can deliver unprecedented levels of service to ensure that every customer is a customer for life.”

Mercedes-Benz of North Wales strengthens on all fronts.

Jim has spent the past 15 years with two other marques but is relishing his fi rst involvement with a prestige automotive brand in which he will oversee the day-to- day operations at Mercedes-Benz of North Wales.

Equally excited about his new role is Steve, 38, who is re-locating his family to North Wales from Cumbria where he has spent his entire career to date. The father of three daughters heads up the Retailer’s Offi cial
