Fabrice Piault, Livres Hebdo
After graduating in History, Political Sciences and Journalism, Fabrice worked at the Agence France Presse, in Paris, before joining the French Book Trade magazine Livres Hebdo, in 1987 of which he is Deputy Editor in Chief. He is the author of Le livre, la fin d’un règne (The Book, the end of a reign), published by Editions Stock in 1995, about how the book was loosing it’s cultural and educational central position in a multimedia world.
Charlie Redmayne, Pottermore @charliered66
Charlie (Gryffindor) is CEO of Pottermore. After brief careers as a cricketer and soldier, Charlie started at TV AM, then founded his own businesses RCL Communications and Blink TV, and two successful websites MyKindaPlace and MonkeySlum. He moved to Sky TV then HarperCollins publishers, where he set up their global digital business. He joined Pottermore in November 2011.
Andrew Steele, Funny or Die @funnyordie
Andrew Steele serves as Creative Director of Funny or Die, the comedy website founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. He is also the executive producer of HBO’s “Funny or Die Presents,” and Comedy Central’s “Jon Benjamin Has a Van.” Andrew spent 12 years writing for “Saturday Night Live,” the last four as head writer, winning Emmy and Writer’s Guild Awards. Prior to his time on ‘SNL,’ Steele worked with John Stewart’s MTV and Paramount TV’s talk shows.
Belinda Rasmussen, Macmillan
Prior to joining Macmillan, Belinda was MD at the Carlton Publishing Group. During her time at Carlton, Belinda expanded the children’s publishing programme, invested in targeted licensed publishing partnerships and successfully developed digitally enhanced books and app products, and launched Carlton’s ebook list. Previously, Belinda, spent nine years at Egmont in a range of senior roles in rights, international sales, business development and management. During her time there, she took an MBA at the London Business School.

Evan Schnittman is Managing Director Group Sales and Marketing, Print and Digital, Bloomsbury Publishing Plc. is in charge of all sales, marketing, publicity, rights and technology across Bloomsbury’s group companies. Evan spent eight years at Oxford University Press as Vice President of Corporate & Business Development, responsible for digital partnerships and licensing. Evan has over 25 years of publishing related business experience having held positions at The Princeton Review, Little, Brown, FA Davis and Barnes & Noble’s main store on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Evan is widely known in the industry as a thought leader. His blog, BlackPlasticGlasses, has become required reading for anyone wishing to understand book publishing in the digital age.

Michael is responsible for sales, publisher and industry relations, content acquisition, and the merchandising experience across Kobo’s web and mobile services. He co-founded Canada’s first online bookstore
Bookshelf.ca, which was purchased by Indigo Books & Music in 1998. Most recently, Michael was the founding CEO of BookNet Canada, where he launched the national sales reporting service BNC SalesData.
