PARTY JACKTRACK (ORACY’S HOUSE CALL EDIT) BERNARD BADIE ORACY MOJUBA

STE ROBERTS might not yet be as well known a producer as Alex Jones, his partner behind new label Initials, but that’s soon about to change. And as one of the driving forces behind Hypercolour, alongside Alex and Jamie Russell, and it’s off- shoots Glass Table and Losing Suki, your ears will certainly have picked up on some of the artists his keen A&Ring skills have helped sign and shape.

Out now is Ste’s remix of ‘Cowboy Trap’ by Jones and Kris Wadsworth, while he has further releases coming for Save You Record and Fear Of Flying,

while Initials promises tracks and remixes from the likes of DJ Linus, Petre Inspirescu and Analogue Cops.

Taking in everything from the industrial mid-tempo stomp of Dense & Pika’s ‘Bad Back’ (two well-known UK producers who we can’t name) to the Berghain techno of Shed in his Wax guise, we liked his chart so much we asked for a promo mix which you can listen to online now along with a quick interview where we got Ste to expand on his many projects...
