TalentScotland Graduate Placement Programme

When international students finish their graduate studies in Scotland, they have the chance to get some real hands-on experience with some of the country’s most exciting enterprises, thanks to the TalentScotland Graduate Placement Programme (TGPP). The programme matches recent graduates and

postgraduates, including international graduates (up to two years after graduation), to undertake temporary placements with Scottish companies on projects to help their business innovate or develop new products and processes – and get valuable work experience in return. The programme expects to place 600

graduates in Scotland between 2010 and 2013. Graduate Chris Putt, who is working with adventure holiday company Highland Activities near Inverness, said: “I have learned how to present the knowledge I have in my head using the tools and techniques we have learned from the TGPP business course. I can now use these to present and discuss ideas and actions with my boss and others.”
