knitter-switch unveils LED illuminated panel mount pushbutton switch
knitter-switch has a new panel mounted pushbutton switch that will be of interest to those designing office automation equipment, measuring instruments as well as systems that require an illuminated switch easy to mount. According to knitter-switch, the DPL 1 CB pushbutton switches are easy to mount and simply snap-in to an 8mm round hole. They are illuminated by LEDs and can be supplied in the following colours: white, red, yellow, green, blue and blue/green bi-colour. With a minimum life of 50,000 cycles, the DPL 1 CB pushbutton switch features gold plated contacts and terminals and is rated at 30V, 0.1ADC. Standard switches are available
from a number of distributors throughout Europe.

High spec plastic UTS connectors from Quadrant
Recently appointed as a stocking distributor for Souriau, Quadrant Connections is now stocking the full range of Souriau connector products including the popular UTS series. A plastic, circular connector range that
provides significant cost savings over metal connectors, the Souriau UTS range does not compromise on performance. It is rated to IP68/69K, is vibration resistant, halogen-free, UV and salt spray resistant and UL/IEC compliant. Compatible with Mil-spec 26482, the UTS range mates with an audible ‘click’ and is available in a variety of connector layouts with crimp, solder, screw or PCB termination. This connector series offers four shell sizes and up to 32 contact positions in various contact styles, including the TRIM TRIO range of removable contacts.
This high level of specification makes these connectors suited for all types of internal and external equipment used in the industrial, civil engineering, marine, instrumentation and measurement, automation, robotics, medical, rail and telecommunications industries.

HARTING has introduced a new angled version of its RJ45 connector which allows users to save space in their designs by offering different mounting
options.The connector incorporates a 45° cable outlet that can be mounted in four different directions, giving users the opportunity to achieve the right cable outlet direction with the same item number every time. The HARTING RJ Industrial 10G angled offers maximum flexibility for a wide range of conductor and cable diameters, while saving
installation time by using paired tried and tested insulation displacement connection technology. The insulation displacement terminations can be used with flexible and rigid wires with profiles ranging from AWG 27/7 to AWG 22/1. Cables with a diameter of between 4.5 mm and 8 mm can be connected.
Easy assembly without tools, secure and rapid connection and data transfer rates up to 1/10 Gbit/s Ethernet make the RJ Industrial(R) 10G twice as fast as previous versions. This robust and
industry-compliant IP 20 version also has a compact design, making it multi-port capable.
In addition to the IP 20 versions, all common IP 65/67 connector types from PushPull to Han 3A are available with the RJ45 insert.
