Accuride Corp., Evansville, Ind., expects to spend about $75 million in 2012 to increase aluminum wheel pro- duction capacity and update Gunite Corp., a ferrous casting facility serving the trucking industry. According to Accuride President and CEO Rick Dauch, the 2012 ex- penditures will build on the company’s $35 million investment in 2011. Te first phase targets new machining lines and related equipment in the wheels business and is already underway. A second phase encompasses the im- provements at Gunite. “We made solid progress in boost- ing our production capacity last year and are stepping up our investments to extend and accelerate that progress throughout 2012,” Dauch said. Revstone: New Financing to Create Diecasting Jobs

of Revstone Industries LLC, Detroit, announced it expects to launch new aluminum diecasting programs under a reorganized financial structure. Te company, which maintains
several metalcasting facilities, said it has closed a new financing package with funds managed by Icon Capital Corp. According to Revstone CEO Kevin Cramton, the financing will be used to fund new products and business. Revstone operates diecasting facili- ties in Chihuahua, Mexico, Portage, Mich., and Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Te company also has several ferrous casting facilities in its portfolio. facility improvements, new machin- ing lines and equipment, and transfer of equipment among its three wheel plants in Erie, Pa., Camden, S.C., and Monterrey, Mexico. Te investments are expected to double aluminum wheel capacity in Monterrey and Camden.
Te purchases at Gunite are intend- ed to boost its capacity and through- put and improve product quality. Te Gunite wheel-end business unit produces spoke wheels, hubs, rotors, full cast brake drums and automatic slack adjusters.
