Mandatory Reporting of Healthcare Personnel Influenza Vaccination Using the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) System


Beginning in 2013, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will require hospitals to report healthcare personnel influenza vaccination through NHSN using a standardized measure. This session includes an overview of measure definitions and reporting protocols. Representatives from jurisdictions involved in pilot-testing the measure will share implementation recommendations.
