Snap-on Announces Introduction Of Rugged New Master Cooling
System Kit Snap-on Tools, brand leader in tools, tool storage and diagnostic equipment for the automotive industry, has announced the latest addition to its tool range – a rugged new Master Cooling System Kit. Marketed under Snap-on’s Blue Point brand the new Master Cooling System
Kit is used to test for leaks in the cooling system, - diagnosing leaking hoses and joints, head gasket failure, cracked blocks and suspect caps. It is suitable for cars, vans, trucks, buses, motor cycles and agricultural applications. The mechanic simply identifies the correct cap for the vehicle from a complete
guide which is included and then connects to the car radiator with the hose and pump supplied. The operator then pumps two to three times until the gauge is in the red, waits between 10 and 20 seconds and watches for movement in the gauge. If there is no movement then the cooling system is fine. The previous version of the Master Cooling System Kit – which sold nearly
5,000 units – came boxed with only six adaptors while the new version is supplied with nine, six screw-type and three bayonet adaptors. It comes with a high quality flexible hose with brass quick couplings and reinforced plastic pump housing. It has a high quality gauge – (0.2.5bar/0-36psi) – with robust protective rubber cap.
