ONE of the A&R guys pulling the strings of Anjunabeats’ sister label, Anjunadeep, James Grant has always had a wide-ranging taste in electronic music, so it’s just as well his side- project has allowed him to explore it.
Positioned as a canvas for the sounds felt by the crew but not immediately within the ‘Beats’ remit, the label naturally took on a fl ag-bearing role for the progressive scene throughout the latter part of the noughties but has since expanded its remit to include everything from deep house to Border Community-style electronica.
