HUORATRON ‘CRYPTOCRACY’ LAST GANG RECORDS

DISCOVERED at a Dutch metal festival by Last Gang Records, who count MSTRKRFT and Crystal Castles amongst their ranks, Huoratron isn’t your average techno artist. Hailing from darkest Scandinavia, spiritual home of various weird death metal cults, his sound owes as much to digital hardcore, industrial and electronic body music as the legacy of Detroit, ‘Cryptocracy’ sounding like Gesaffelstein gone seriously

wrong and backed by a video that comes with a warning for epileptics (“The best kinds of music videos are the ones that induce seizures”, as the top comment says). If you like what you hear of this lead track from his forthcoming album of the same name, keep your ears open, but perhaps your eyes closed, for its release in April. www.huoratron.com
