LUCKY PAUL ‘ELEPHANT ISLAND’ SOMETHINKSOUNDS

A Berlin-based, New Zealand-born producer, Lucky Paul rocked our world with his previous single, ‘Thought We Were Alone’, which featured a deep, down and durty mix from Gadi Mizrahi & Eli Goldstein. With a head full of production knowledge from pursuing his love of music and studying the myriad of instruments available from India to Brazil, this time around it’s his

own original which is the standout, reminding us of a cross between Toro Y Moi and Caribou with it’s wistful vocal electronica. Out now, check the full EP as remixes from Midland and Ossie shake it up for the fl oor, hence the fact we made it one of our Killers in the January issue of DJ Mag.
