An email popped into my inbox from Littlewoods. It told me I had won ‘the day with Coleen and personal makeover competition’. I couldn’t believe what I was reading. Me? Win! No! Then a call on my mobile confirmed it was true. I was off to spend a dream day with Coleen Rooney. Amazing!
think, between being told and the actual day arriving, I was on the phone the whole time telling friends. I’ve always been a massive Coleen
fan, so to spend a day with her was like a dream come true. And to have her help me pick out new things from the Littlewoods collection... well... you couldn’t ask for a better personal shopper could you! A few weeks later, myself and my mum
Norma, were both picked up from John Lennon airport and whisked off to the Littlewoods photo studios in Liverpool. Everyone was there to meet me.
The girls who had organised the competition, the hair and make-up artist, the stylist, the photographer. I felt like a celebrity. Talking of which. The next moment, in walked a real celebrity! Coleen in the flesh. Making her way over to me! Yes, I was a little nervous, and yes more than a little star-struck, but she quickly introduced herself, gave me a hug, said well done, then we all sat down for a champagne breakfast. We sat for half an hour or so.
She chatted away like anyone else, and then said we should have a look through the clothes. We flicked through the rail together and chatted lots more.
She held garments against
me, asked what I thought, gave her opinions, and soon we had the outfits together that I was going to wear. I loved them all! Then we went into the
photo studio, and Coleen started modelling her new collection for the camera. She looked amazing and made it all looked so easy and natural. I was pampered like never

before. Hair. Make-up. A stylist to help me get dressed. What luxury! Then it was my turn. Now I was nervous! Coleen stood by and offered little modelling tips and advice. The photographer snapped away.
Then I had lots of photos taken with Coleen as well. I felt so happy. And the photos looked lovely. The clothes felt fantastic. I didn’t want the day to end. At around 4pm the photographer
exclaimed ‘That’s a wrap, boys and girls!’ The whole team turned to Coleen and I and gave us a big round of applause. The time had come. We said our
goodbyes, Coleen gave me another big hug and kiss. Wow! What an amazing day. So many memories that I will keep forever, as well as lots of lovely new Littlewoods clothes! A fab story to tell
for years to come. Thank you Littlewoods, it was truly a day, I will never ever
