We make no other guarantees, express or implied, of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, of the seed or of the crops grown from the seed, other than germina- tion. Our liability for the breach of this guarantee, whether contractual, for negligence, or for any other reason, is limited to either a credit letter for the pur- chase price or replacement of such seeds one time, either act of which shall constitute full and complete adjustment and release. As a condition to any liabil- ity on our part, we must receive notice of any claim for defective seeds by registered mail within 30 days after the defect becomes apparent. We reserve the right to request the return of merchandise before making adjustments.
