The Executive Hire Show is the most important exhibition in the calendar for
Husqvarna. The two days are a great opportunity to meet our existing customers and to make contact with new ones. This year our objective is to communicate the strength of our brand and our product portfolio, showcasing equipment which has been developed with the end user and the hire industry in mind. It is apparent that more hirers, and their customers, are showing interest in
environmental and Health & Safety issues, such as dust, noise, HAV and emissions - all areas for which Husqvarna has been developing solutions for many years. Our area managers and product specialists will be on hand to offer advice on selecting equipment that meets users’ requirements without compromising performance.

We’re looking forward to being back at the Show. We only missed the 2011 event because we knew we would be busy planning for our move to larger premises. It will be a great opportunity to see our customers, get their feedback concerning product development, and to generally take the industry’s pulse as the start of the New Year. We plan to have new equipment on our stand, and we’ll be offering special Show-only deals on
key products. In fact, that’s one of the main reasons why hirers must attend: you can’t do a deal on a website or in an email, and there’s really no substitute for face to face contact and discussion.

Challenging times continue for the UK construction market, which makes the Executive Hire Show a must-attend event for all independent and national hire companies to meet with the suppliers and see what great new profit opportunities and innovative products are available. The organising team also arrange what must be the best UK hire networking evening of the year. In support of our industry’s leading exhibition, we will be promoting ‘Show-only specials’ that will certainly make visiting our stand a must, for both new and existing customers. We will promote new and improved products built to meet the tough demands of hire, including the Altrad Plettac Alu-Site staircase system, and other Altrad Group lines including scaffolding, wheelbarrows and, of course, mixers.

Alex Pitt, Sales & Marketing Director, Tracmaster Many in the industry have been looking into the black pit of downturn and recession for the past three years.
Yes, globally financial markets and economic structures are still unsteady, and some would argue they remain in turmoil, but business will go on. The UK construction market will see improvements in the commercial, retail, leisure and private housing markets during 2012 and 2013, and the construction industry has relied on hirers as essential service providers for many years. As hirers enhance their offering, business will increase, and the industry has become an ever more important market to us as a manufacturer. Our product innovation and development aims to satisfy customers’ requirements, and where better to promote these benefits than at the Executive Hire Show, established as the place where passionate hirers meet innovative suppliers.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Show is its ability to attract such a wide ranging cross-section of quality hirers, both nationals and independents, all of which are important to us. We can present all our latest products and technologies to the whole industry under one roof. In today’s ever more Health & Safety conscious environment, it’s vital that
hirers stay informed about the latest developments that provide them, and their customers, with effective solutions. As well as highlighting issues in the workplace like noise, vibration and dust, we will be launching ‘Safety Talks’, a multi-lingual training package that comes on a USB memory stick, to facilitate on-site instruction.

Because the Show is specifically focused on the hire industry, anyone who is anyone just has to be there. Every year we find it to be an incredibly busy and hugely enjoyable event, enabling us to not only gather new leads and enquiries, but also to keep in touch with our existing Syrinx software customers. I honestly can’t think of any reason why a hirer shouldn’t attend the exhibition, because it enables them to keep right up to date with the latest products and developments, and to share experiences with others in their industry. And if you don’t go, you’ll miss out on what your competitors will gain from.
