NACFB rebrands with new logo and message to members


the nacFB has been busy on working on a rebrand which was fully released at this year’s agm in november. it was felt that it was


important to have a uniform logo that reflected all of the sectors represented by the association rather than a variety of different logos and graphic devices. the main aim of rebranding


is also to underline the nacFB’s role in putting


brokers and Smes in contact to secure funding. the new positioning


statement of “Helping Fund uK Business” helps to emphasise the role that the association plays in helping businesses find funding via a membership of professional brokers. the message of securing funding for Smes is now more important than ever and it is vital that the association makes Smes aware of how we can help their businesses to grow,


helping the uK recovery. in essence, the nacFB wants


to


ensure that the business community is equally aware of the service that we offer as well as the commercial finance industry. the details of


the


rebranding exercise were announced at this year’s agm to give the membership an opportunity to see the new


logos and the changes to the way the association is represented with an explanation on how the nacFB is aiming to target the Sme market in a greater way and to make them aware of the range of alternative funding available.

89% believe the country’s banks fail to use common sense when they make deci- sions about business loan applications. almost 45% felt that banks are too bureau- cratic when dealing with small businesses and most worrying, only 6% felt confi- dent that banks are clear and transparent in their dealings with small business custom- ers.


With over 4.8m small to


medium businesses in the uK, they certainly play a cen- tral role in the economy, act-


ing as vital agents for sustain- able economic growth and providing a major source of entrepreneurial skills, innova- tion and employment. over the next year, Shaw-


brook plans to lend £250m to small business customers and property investors. our straightforward, com-
