ELLEHAMMER emergency fire pumps are used for safety on gas tankers (LNG), tankers at oil fields used for storage (FSO), production units (FPSO) or oil rigs. They are often used as backup for a Fire Ring, where 3 – 4 ELLEHAMMER emer- gency fire pumps ensure that the water pressure does not fall due to failures in the main system.
